Hookah hygiene standards for home delivery and take out services

In the modern environment, the greatest standards of hygiene are essential. If you are offering any of the services to your clients, it's critical to be completely transparent and to have a clear cleaning schedule. It is important to inform your clients that you adhere to the highest preparation and sanitary standards. You can watch our video here.

Possible Services

  • You sell a complete "shisha/hookah at home" package that includes a shisha/hookah device, charcoal, molasses, and cleaning supplies. This is known as a shisha/hookah bundle.

  • Providing a home delivery service where a returnable "shisha/hookah at home kit" is sent for a brief time

  • Providing your customers a pick-up and take away service where client purchases a pre-made hookah or shisha product from the menu, which is then picked up from your location.

WE RECOMMEND THE FOLLOWING IF YOU ARE DELIVERING AND SETTING UP SHISHA/HOOKAH AT A PRIVATE HOME:

  • You use a throwaway hose to supply a well cleaned gadget.

  • Delivered in its original packing, the hose can be opened and attached by the client. While short-term usage of single-use plastics is not ideal for the environment, the present situation is unusual. In general, since silicone hoses are simpler to clean, we advise them.

  • Use latex gloves throughout the whole preparation process if you are setting up and preparing shisha/hookah for a customer.

  • Prepare the coals but avoid smoking the pipe to pre-heat the shisha or hookah if you are beginning it for the customer. Show the client how to accomplish this.

  • Never use the shisha or hookah to pre-heat, purge, or control the heat during or after a smoking session. Encourage consumers to heat or purge the hookah or shisha on their own.

  • Serving more than one shisha or hookah per person is not advised at this time.
